Accommodation and Supported Living

Living independently means having control over your own life and being able to make your own choices. This can include choosing to live with flatmates who share similar interests and support needs or living on your own. When you are independent, you have the freedom to determine how you want your life to be and how you want to achieve your goals. This may involve learning new skills, such as cooking or budgeting, or taking care of practical tasks like cleaning the house. Ultimately, living independently allows you to pursue your own passions and interests and shape your life in the way that best suits you.

Respite Services

Respite services are designed to provide a safe and relaxing space for people with disabilities to take a break from their daily routines. Our team of trained professionals is dedicated to helping you unwind and enjoy your time away.

Our disability respite services offer stays for people with disabilities to relax or simply take a break. This can be a mini break, a planned vacation, or a place to stay while family or caregivers take time away from their daily routines. Everyone deserves a break and the opportunity to experience living somewhere new, even temporarily. From freshly prepared meals to memorable activities, Disability Care 4 U Pty Ltd provides excellent disability respite services to ensure you have a stress-free experience.

We offer short, medium, and long-term options under Short-Term Accommodation (STA) as part of your NDIS funding. In addition, we offer emergency respite accommodation for people with more complex needs or those experiencing a crisis and needing unplanned support.

Support

Support Coordination

If you have an NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme) plan, you have the freedom to choose which service providers you work with. While some people prefer to find and coordinate their own services, this can be challenging. That's where Support Coordination comes in.

Support Coordinators are professionals who can help you identify mainstream and other disability services that are suitable for you. There are three levels of support coordination that can be included in your NDIS plan: support connection, coordination of supports, and specialist support coordination. These different levels of support can help you navigate the process of finding and accessing the services you need.

Support at Home and in the Community

At Disability Care 4 U Pty Ltd, we believe that everyone should have the opportunity to pursue their goals, discover their passions, and enjoy the simple pleasures of everyday life. Our team is always supportive and encourages you to aim high when it comes to your lifestyle goals, no matter how big or small they may be.

Some lifestyle skills may come more easily than others, but that doesn't mean you should be left out. Whether you need support accessing local community activities or making new friends, Disability Care 4 U Pty Ltd is here to help.

Our support isn't limited to the community either. Our highly trained staff also provide in-home disability care, helping you become more independent and take control of your life, from preparing meals to cleaning. We are here to support you every step of the way.
